Are you following me on Pinterest? If so, yay! If not, you should do that today! I’ve created boards for my maternity, newborn, baby, and family photography sessions to help you collect inspiration for your upcoming portrait photography sessions.
Pin your favorite images for ideas on choosing what to wear to your portrait photography session or deciding on which colors you prefer for your baby’s newborn session. Sometimes the visual cues will push you in one direction or another to make the decisions easier.

Need to do a midday session? We can do them in the woods! The trees of the forest offer beautiful shade for even light and no squinting. This location (below) is about 15 minutes from me.
I’ve had a couple babies in the studio this month, too! Both mamas chose navy props, which is a definite favorite of boy moms!
I had a sweet little girl who was supposed to come in for her newborn session right when everything shut down. She made her way to me at 4-months-old instead for a lovely summertime outdoor family session.
I’m in love with this wildflower field and do a lot of my sessions here in the summer and fall. So beautiful!
If it’s too bright to get to the wildflower field, we seek out fun shaded spots like this gem below. Loved meeting the extended family of one of my neighbors for this portrait photography session in honor of the parent’s 50th wedding anniversary!
Last, but not least, one of my friends reached out to ask me to take portraits for the book jacket for the release of her next novel. How could I say no to that? I flipping adored her debut release, which you should absolutely go read right now!
