If you’ve been following my blog or Facebook page, you’ll know already that I tore my ACL in March and had surgery to correct it in April. After 4 LONG weeks of not working, I finally had photography sessions last week! It was SO great getting back behind the camera again! I photographed the sweetest little newborn boys!
The first newborn was darling little Wells. This is the third newborn I’ve photographed for this family, and it’s totally surreal to see the older siblings “grown up.” I love that mom chose gray as one of the prop colors for all three sessions so there’s some continuity between them.
I create Pinterest boards for all of my sessions. Here is little Wells’ Pinterest board showcasing some of the gray and white photos from his newborn session.
Of course, there are dozens more photos from Wells’ newborn session that I love! Here are some of them!
My next session was for little Weston! He has an animal theme in his nursery, which is green, tan and dark brown. Since the walls are tan, I styled his session using the green from his nursery and dark brown to create color pops when she hangs the photos on his walls.
Of course, we incorporate other colors as well! Parents get to choose the colors of all of the hats we use during newborn photography sessions, and most props I use are pretty neutral to allow for lots of options with those as well.
Weston’s big brother was such a perfect little supermodel, that I created a separate Pinterest board just of the pictures of the two brothers!
It’s been so great getting back to business this month! I’m so excited for the sessions I have lined up for the rest of the year! My next available session is in December, so contact me today to schedule your session!
