The new year is off to such a sweet start with three precious babies having made their way to my photography studio for their newborn sessions!
All three of these little souls have been the sweetest and are such beautiful babies. I had so much fun designing, photographing and editing their newborn sessions!
The first newborn session of the year was with little Druhi. Her hair was absolutely perfect, as if she had just been to a salon! I couldn’t stop cooing over her!
The brown blanket above is brand new and is such a perfect brown – lots of blue and red in it to complement skin tones. 🙂 I also love the setup with the green blanket, which was a last minute add. Druhi looks so cute holding that teddy bear!
I couldn’t wait to use the brown blanket again and used it in two of Cameron’s setups above. The photo with both parents hands on Cameron in the bottom-right corner was a request from his parents, and I love how it turned out!
Handsome little Cameron loved his newborn session, as you can see by his HUGE smiles! While his parents were positioned near the beanbag for the photo with their hands, I created these two black and white images for them below, which look beautiful when combined together, too!
The above two images were created with Cameron laying on the beanbag. The backdrop was later substituted for solid black to give the appearance of him being lifted and swung in the air. Here are the before and after images.
Last, but not least was gorgeous Madeline, whose middle name is Iris, her grandmother’s namesake. Madeline’s dad has a tattoo of an iris on his back, and her mom requested incorporating the tattoo (bottom left photo). What do you think? Did I do it justice?
I have even more newborn sessions next month and can’t wait to share their portraits with you! Be sure to like my Facebook page to fill your feed with beautiful photos of babies and families!
Are you located in Northern VA and expecting in late Feb or March? I have only a few sessions remaining! Book today!
