One of the things I love most about newborn photography is that I get to let my creative side out! With a collection of over 200 newborn hats, 4 dozen tiebacks, and hundreds more wraps, blankets and props, I’m able to make every session unique.
Before your newborn session, we’ll talk about your color and style preferences. With so many items to choose from, in every color of the rainbow, it’s nice to pick a color scheme to use throughout your session so that the photos coordinate later when you use them for an announcement or wall display. We can match to your baby’s nursery or another room in the house where you’re planning on displaying the photos. If you’re having a girl, I’ll also ask you to give me the thumbs up or down on lace, ruffles, tiaras/rhinestones and tutus.
Baby Eva’s parents decided to stick with neutral colors for her session and add in a few small pops of color here and there. The night before her session, I set out a few props, blankets and hats that I thought they’d like. When they arrived the next morning, they were able to select the actual bonnets and tie backs that we used throughout the session.
Oh my goodness, cuteness to the max!! I do love my job!
What do you think of Eva’s color scheme? What colors will you choose for your session? 🙂
