I can’t tell you how many times this has happened. A child gets sick for their photography session, or the weather becomes horrible, or a baby is born earlier or later than planned, and we need to reschedule the photo session. Seems like it would be pretty frustrating… The strange thing is, that in each of these occasions, and I really do mean in EVERY single one, it’s all worked out for the best.
Just yesterday I had a newborn baby born a month early (totally healthy and weighing 7 1/2 pounds!), so they’re coming to see me next week instead. Only, when they were originally scheduled, I had overbooked myself, and they fit so nicely into my week next week! 🙂
For the photo session below, we had originally scheduled their session for last November, but one of their children was ill so we needed to reschedule and decided on the spring instead. We could not have ended up with a more beautiful evening for their portraits!! There were beautiful clouds in the sky that would occasionally let through bursts of sunlight, but when covering the sun, created a gorgeous haze. Their children were in a great mood and we all had so much fun, even after their long drive from Fredericksburg to do their session with me in my beautiful neighborhood!

OMG! These pictures are gorgeous! They are all priceless but the one of the three kids laughing in the field is so amazing along with the one of the entire family walking and they are all looking different ways but it’s just breathtaking! Great Job Becky! I know they must LOVE all these pictures!!
