Wow Wow Wow! What a beautiful summer! I couldn’t have asked for more fun photography clients. Thanks as always for trusting me to capture these priceless memories for your family.
With one of my kids just starting high school and the other in middle school, I fully understand how fast the years go by, even when you’re trapped inside the house with them for 18 months during a pandemic. LOL.

I’m an agented author!!
I won’t bury the lede. On May 27th, 2021, I signed with a literary agent for my very first novel! It’s a Young Adult Speculative Romance. Learn more about the story, and sign up for my mailing list (pretty please!) on my new author website. No book deal yet, and the publishing industry is super slow, so it could take a year or more to get a deal and then another couple years to see it published. But this is all very exciting!
Travel dreams came true
We also took TWO family summer trips – the first to San Francisco, Yosemite, and Big Sur, and the second to the Great Smoky Mountains. Both were incredible, and man, do I have the travel bug now. I want to go everywhere and see everything!!
Scheduling changes for next year
Finally, my parents realized their long-time dream of purchasing a beach house! It’s in Hampton, Virginia only a short walk from the Chesapeake Bay. It’s so lovely. Because of this, I will be taking half as many weekend sessions in 2022. As mentioned earlier, time is fleeting, and time with my parents and children even more so. I don’t want to pass up valuable family time these last few years with my kids at home. Thanks for understanding!
